My Reiki Experience
Reiki continues to amaze me—spirit-guided energy really works! I am becoming acutely aware of the increasing number of adults who suffer from chronic medical conditions triggered by negative childhood memories, trauma and abuse. When such memories and experiences are stuffed rather than addressed, they are stored in the body, mind and aura. As time goes by, these memories fester and eventually manifest in the form of dis-ease of the body and/or mind.
My objective is to make a difference in each person’s life by opening a new door through which they can find healing and harmony.
One of my clients suffers with kidney problems, pain behind her eyes and the bottoms of her feet are extremely painful when she stands. I believe the pain is a result of negative conditioning that was established during her adolescence, coupled with disturbing and puzzling memories. After scanning her aura, which was clear, I found blockages in her head, heart and feet.
Many times past negative experiences can stay with us on the subconscious level. It can them manifest and affect us negatively on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
However, the loving, compassionate energy of Karuna Reiki® heals on a cellular level, meaning the client is not called upon to relive the negative experience(s).
Through Reiki Healing, this type of pain can be released and leave the client with a new-found sense of well-being and clarity.

I would like to share a loving story with you about a horse named Scarlette. Scarlette and I met on a cold, rainy day in May and she was upset and shivering from the cold. I was there for my first riding lesson with Lisa Flagg of Glastonbury. Scarlette is a beautiful mare thorough bred horse about 15 years old. Named Scarlette because of the color of her hair. Scarlette is special especially since we both share the same color hair. Scarlette along with 3 or 4 other mares and 2 folds were being starved to death by a woman in New Jersey.UNTIL a sweet, loving woman named Kristen DeLuca of Wethersfield, CT purchased all of these horses. Scarlette was so thin her rib bones were showing through.
I was there with a wonderful trainer, Lisa Flagg of Glastonbury, CT for my first riding lesson. After Lisa rode her for a bit and calmed her down, Scarlette was very gentle with me. When our lesson was complete, I learned Scarlette had not been eating very much so I offered to give her Reiki. While giving her Reiki, I realized she was afraid to eat!. Reiki being spirirtual guided energy and with all my love and compassion I assured Scarlette it was okay to eat, assured her she was safe and there was plenty of food. When she was put in her stall what do you think happened? Yes, she immediately started to eat.
To help her gain weight Kristen stopped Scarlette from beinng riddeen. Each time I returned for a lesson she was always eating while I gave her Reiki. Kristen would report she was eating, but not gaining weight. Kristen thought she might have an ulcer since that happens when a horse has been starved. Kristn never giving up on Scarlette has continued to care for her and feeding her 24 pounds of grain and hay each day. Today, September 7th Scarlette has gained weight. Wow, now her coat is very sleek, shiny and she is full of energy. After all these months, I was able to have a riding lesson with her and I learned how to trott.
Scarlette has 90 more pounds to gain. My love and admiration go out to both Scarlette and owner, Kristen DeLuca. Looking forward to my next riding lesson and Reiki session with Scarlette.
